Default About to pull the trigger

Edited ..

Hi everyone. I live in Austin and have been riding for about 40 years now. Have owned a lot of different motorcycles and loved them all. I am currently on a 2006 Goldwing after having a 2005 RK. Now looking to get back on a HD again. Probably an Ultra. Looking forward to being a new member on the forums.

Wazted tells us about yourself so we know who we are talking to then go to the section for your particular bike and ask the question. Or better yet, since your question is extensive start reading posts involving your model and after awhile you can put a list together of what you will need to be aware of...........Welcome to the forum from Arizona.

Like you, I've had my share of bikes including a 2002 Gold Wing. Speaking for myself, when Harley re-designed their frames in 2009 and upped the engine specs a bit, that made me look at the Ultras again. The Ultras do handle a lot better these days, not as good as the Wing, but they're getting close. Nevertheless, I pulled the trigger on a 3,500 mile 2010 Ultra in the exact colors (black/silver) that I wanted, so I'm a happy camper. Although I still like the Wings, there's just something about a Harley that keeps me coming back every few years. I guess I'm just a nostalgia buff, as I like the classic looks, and the old schoolness of what a Harley represents.
