Generator problems
Hello , I have a 1954 FLE Panhead,its the 50 year anniversity model,and its completly stock. I have oened it for 30 years. My question is about the field coils for a 6 volt generator. On the shunt coil i have 7.8 ohms and the regulating coil i have 3.7 ohms.I also put an ammetter in series with a charged battery and got 1.5 volts and .4 volts. Here is the question,aren't they supposed to be the same in a model 52 set up?
