Hey everyone,
I've been looking around hdforums for a while and finally am able to add my own input. I'm 5'7"ish at 150 lbs, and just purchased my first motorcycle ever. I took the MSF course over 4 months ago and I must say it was a great learning experience. My first purchase is a used Nightster 1200, I haven't received it yet but will come to my home this Saturday. I'm a bit nervous, because I rode a 250 in the course and this is a 1200. My goal is to take my bike through the residential areas, empty parking lots and such to get the hang of it. But what worries me is that it may be too much power. Back when I was 120 lbs, I rode a gxr1000 and I swear the front wheel was going up. Hopefully this is a lot better when it comes to handling.
