New here, My name is Tim i'm 39 from central Illinois... little bit about me.
My dad got me started riding when i was 4 years old grew up riding Motocross and riding everyday, switched to Crotch rockets when i was old enough. Had a bad incident with a deer on my way to work and totaled my 954RR in 2010. Long story short overnight hospital stay...no more bike. LOL...my dad had a Sporty and found a nice upgrade bike sooo...i got his hand me down 88 sportster that he had customized. Although my first Harley my dad was in an MC in my younger years and i have been around them my whole life.
I rode it for a season and decided to do some of my own customizing this winter...as of now its in a hundred pieces in my bike shop shed right now. :-) Looking forward to asking lots of questions and meeting new Sporty peeps on here.

I grew up riding Honda trailbikes, graduated to various Honda and Yamaha Roadbikes.
I finally got my Harley this year, a 04 1200 Sportster. I haven't riden it yet.
