Well,..the weather did comply and she is home! Nearly froze my butt off on the 40 mile run up to Buford and the dealership in the 40 degree weather. That was on my dearly departed naked Bonnie.

Different story on my 65 mile return trip! It had warmed up a scant few degrees, but what a world of difference the windshield makes. I am so completely impressed by this machine. Rush hour traffic was starting to build so I took back roads, and glad I did. Temporarily, she is nearly quiet with the stock exhaust, but it was so rewarding to feel the power within. I couldn't believe how smooth and reserved everything was at 60 mph. Felt like I was going 40. Of course moving up from 865 ccs to the 103 ci has a lot to do with that. The sound will be changing soon!

Regarding the dealer experience, they were first class too other than the finance man suddenly forgetting about the interest rate I was originally quoted. That was fixed in a hurry though .

What a gloriously perfect day for this 51 yo kid!
