Just purchased by first bike ever a 2009 Sportster 883. I got my endorsement 10 days ago because my husband bought a 2012 soft tail deluxe and I decided I wasn't sitting home while he was out riding and having a blast. Still a little nervous so if anyone has any suggestions I love to hear them.
Solicited advise:You are NEVER done learning to ride. Make sure to take an advanced (also a beginning if you haven't already) motorcycle course. They are well worth the time and the money. Also remember that your safety comes second to somebody that's on their phone, playing with their stereo, texting, putting on their make up, so on and so forth. People do not watch out for bikes, you have to watch out for them.
