Hi, Steve Here,
I am new to the site and ride an 2002 xl53c custom 883 which has had a 1200 cc upgrade,Its a lovely bike but needs a little love,as its had a hard life so far,I only bought it a few months ago.
Its the 4th sporty I have owned and love it, Anyway, I would like to make it feel and look like the new '72 and wondered if the forks may be roughly the same length as mine?
I know the '72 has 10 inch mini apes on 2 inch risers but if i got these would the bars still be the same height?
Can anybody help?
Thanks
Hi from the Uk there's a few of us here amongst all the Yanks, as far as you bars are concerned I'd say they would be higher, your best off posting the question on the sportster forum.
