Hello all. Great site. Been visiting for quite a while and just decided to join.
About me... 36, married w/ 2 little boys. USMC vet. Graduating from college next month(BS Biology, Chemistry minor). Starting pharmacy school in the fall.
I built a chop back in '03 with the funds I managed to save while in the Middle East. She's my first love(photos in my garage). I fell in love with the baggers shortly after and bought an '03 FLHR. It was bone stock when I got it. I put 16" chubby's on it, tons of the shiny stuff, Rinehart's, AND AM CURRENTLY IN THE MARKET FOR WHEELS/TIRES. 21" fat spoke(preferably) with 120/70 WW up front and probably 16" out back. Not sold on Vee Rubber yet because it's out there that they're having trouble with the WW staying W, and, I'm not too sure about Korean tires on a motorcycle(the whole 80mph on the highway thing). I'm leaning strongly towards Diamondback doing a WW on a Metzler ME 120/70 for me. I've seen the 90-90's on the 3.5, but that sort of scares me too. I'm looking at HogPro and Ride Wrights. Any input(good and bad) appreciated. I started riding dirt bikes when I was really young so I've always had something, and can find things about just about any motorcycle, car, or truck that I like. I love customizing and wrenching. I'm a Ford kinda guy, too. 7.3L 4x4 Excursion(leveled and tuned), '05 Mustang GT Conv(a few odds and ends). Thanks for having me. I'm open to ?s and will for surely be posting stuff that I'm doing/thinking.
