Hello from Central Pa

It's been a few years since I had to part ways with the last ride. After looking around for a while, along comes Craigslist and find a red 2008 Rocker C. It's in mint condition with 8,000 miles on it. First time I've seen a guy have a hydraulic motorcycle lift in his garage. He wanted $13,500 for it. Even though that was below KBB price, I decided to keep looking. But my mind kept going back to this bike. Out of the blue, he emails me and says he will drop the price to $12,000. He says he needs to unload it and wants what he owes on it. He's got new bars, new pipes and lots of chrome. So I think I got a pretty good deal, comparing KBB and ebay prices. Plus he is going to trailer it to HD to get a new inspection and a good going over before he hands it over. Now we're waiting on HD to send the title. Nothing worse then the weather warming up and not being able to ride though. So now I'm looking at options on getting rid of that ungodly gap behind the seat. Plus I don't think it will take long before the little woman will be wanting a different seat when she tags along.

Thanks for the greetings guys. Anybody want to share their do's and don'ts of a rocker C ? I need to solve the 2nd seat option, but enjoy the solo seat look when 2up isn't needed. Also need to lower the bike to get rid of the gap. So once again, any do's or don'ts or if you had to do over agains.
