Welcome from Virginia! About your question concerning the dealer, if you have a good deaership that has experts working on bikes & they treat you right, keep the dealer. If the dealer loses interest in you right after the sale, or they won't treat you right, lose the dealer. For example I live 20 miles west of Richmond, VA which has 2 HD dealers both could care less when I enter the store, so I don't do much business with them. I ride 61 miles north to Orange,VA for my service & purchases because the owner meets & greets everyone when they enter his place. And the moment they enter, the owner & staff treat the customer better than family. They are truely grateful & want my business. The first time I walked into his store was the first week after I bought my FLH & was trying to adjust to it. I rolled into his store tired & saddle sore and knowing I did not wish to buy anything, just wanted to rest a bit he pulled the pipe out of his mouth, and using it as a pointer said, "The coffee is down that way, & the rest room is over there(pointing in another direction)" He answered any question I had & invited me to join his chapter of HOG. This chapter has it's own building for their meetings(!) I was sold...

I guess I'm just trying to say find a good dealer & keep him.
