Just got approval for 3.9% financing on a 2012 Road Glide Ultra. Got to have that 103. Never had a Harley before. Currently own a 2010 Honda Fury that I'll probably trade in.
Now I just need to figure out how not to get taken during the purchase process - I hate nothing more than sitting at that finance table. Seems like they try every trick in the book to slip something extra in.
OK, now just a small amount of advice from an aging wise man
Don't be hasty when purchasing, do your homework. If you really don't want the extended warranty and maintenance plans dont let them talk you into it! Dealers suck and will try to get every penny out of you. Haggle, haggle, haggle; have them sweeten the pot and take off the delivery charges and/or throw in an extended warranty/maintenance plan (if you are even a little bit mechanically inclined then change you own fluids). Remember, as soon as you drive it off the lot it just decreased in value a few K and with all the extra markups, guess what, youre upside down. This is the main reason I ALWAYS look for good deals on something slightly used and not from a dealer, F..K the "new bike smell" But hey, who am I to tell you how to spend your money, good luck with your purchase.
