Brand new rider here, just completed the MSP class at a local Harley Dealer earlier this week and got my license.
Today I went out with my Mom and her Boyfriend (rider of 30+ years) to a different dealership to look at bikes - and then I stumbled across this bad boy.
1991 Sportster 883 (although the dealer said it may have been upped to a 1200, can't know without tearing the motor open, I guess). Someone had traded it in on a newer bike not 15 minutes before we walked in (meant to be?). I think it is pretty old school, especially for someone who is only 22. It's getting inspected, etc and I get to pick it up next week! Just kind of bummed I don't get to ride this beautiful Memorial Day weekend.
Greetings/welcome from Eastern NE...sit down, log-in and enjoy the ride!!!
If a HD sales rep can't figure out a Sporty 883 - 1200 conversion...they should be fired. Look @ the jugs - they're stamped...if it's upgraded you can tell.
