Whats up guys. Just bought a forty eight. Went in for a blackline, walked out with a forty eight.
Although I am so happy with my forty eight and I love it, I had plans on trading up to a blackline, up until I experience my first cruise, we went up to long beach from san diego and out of my forty eight, a street glide, and a blackline, my girl had the most looks. Many people came up to me and walked right passed my two friends and asked about my bike. This pretty much pushed me over the borderline so im keeping my forty eight.
There are a few things I plan on changing on my bike. I want some apes, preferably roland sands vintage shortstacks, not too much rise. I want some V&H big radius pipes, but gonna get slip ons in the mean time, A passenger seat, and a few things I cant really think of. I want my own unique forty eight, not the same as the next guys.
I know im gonna get flack for this, but I was also thinking on getting a batwing fairing with audio and some hard bags for the road. Everything quick release. Give it a mini glide style, but still keep the sportster blood.
I understand criticism but just know I am decided on what I want for my bike and I listen to advice but dont listen to criticism and flaming.
Im from San Diego, My bike is my daily commuter and im starting to take her on cruises up to LA every once in a while. Greetings!!
