I would go with a Dyna. I didn't ride for several years. Several months back I bought a 2007 Street Bob. I couldn't be happier with the ride and comfort. It has plenty of size and power. Good luck in your search.

Is everyone saying the Dyna for comfort or something else? Is it not worth getting used to the 883 and upgrading with a 1200 motor later?

All I can say is I bought a 2012 Dyna Switchback and as for comfort and having the ability to switch from tourer to cruiser I love that fact. Just my opnion though! But Welcome from Louisiana!
