Just joined this forum, thought i could get some pretty decent insight about my 2012 HD Iron 883, its the first bike ive ever personally purchased for myself, but ive ridin motorcycles before so i wanted to start off small. And if i was going to spend my money on anything it was gonna be a Harley. Im not a very motorcycle savvy mechanic, im finding engine modifications and things of that nature are much more different than the sports cars ive built up and tuned in my younger years. So a couple questions that i have are, after adding an exhaust system and air cleaner kit does the bike need to be tuned for optimum performance from the upgrades? And im really in love with the "blacked out" look of the iron so id like to build on that, i was considering flat black air cleaner and exhaust. which brands make a good quality product?
