Default New Harley Owner
I just bought a 2012 HD 883 Sportster. I went to the parts department and one guy tried to sell me 50W engine oil for a brand new bike. I tried to buy synthetic oil 20-50W and was told that this should not be used in the 883 engine. I was planning on using Mobil1 V-twin 20-50w once the warranty is up. I was given a list of the routine service charges so I will be doing them myself. Thank God for HD forums, YouTube, and the Service Manual. Any thoughts on Mobil! would be greatly appreciated.
