V-Rod questions
Hi There,
Just took a test ride on a Screaming Eagle V-Rod yesterday … I’m 5’5” so I have some questions.
Where can I find engine guards?
Is there a seat option that may sit the rider closer to the bars?
How long have the members here had their V-Rods?
Has anyone changed the bars?
On long rides does the heat from the exhaust pipe burn your leg?

I have a 2009 Night Rod Special with almost 20k miles. I bought it used in 2010 with 2k on it.
Yes there are seats that bring you closer to to bars as well as bars that come closer to you And even reduced reach pegs.
Engine guards are also available.
I strongly suggest checking out 1130cc.com. It's the best resource for V Rods...

I don't ride a V-Rod, but I have a mouse and the ability to search H-D.com.

Since they picked them up from the dealer or seller.
Somebody somewhere has. I don't think it's any more difficult to change the bars on the V-Rod than any other bike.
Only if you hold your leg against it. The space between the pipe and your leg allows air to pass through, dissipating the heat.
