New H-D owner!!
Hey guys,
last year I bought my first bike, Kawasaki 636. Great bike but just uncomfortable for long rides. Finally came to my senses after taking it to Laconia for the past 2 years with my buddies who have Harley's. Sold my sportbike and started looking a few weeks ago. Finally found my dream bike, an FXDX. Being my first Harley-Davidson, I have a lot to learn and hopefully i can find most of my answers from you all.
So far, I ordered some Metzelers as the tires on it are shot, ordered new brake pads all around, and changed all the fluids. Just trying to clean it up for now and polished/waxed the purple!
While I'm posting, I do have a quick question. I wanted to take off the saddlebag supports for now, but the bolts are long and look like I need shorter ones....where do I go about finding them? I'm not sure what they would be referred to as.
Oh, and a picture would be nice!
