Just found this forum and had to join after reading some of the posts! Greetings to everyone! I've recently traded in my '01 Softail Springer for a '12 Street Glide. Absolutely loving the new bagger, as does the DW! Look forward to many miles on it.
luc.who, I went with the vivid black and it is bone stock, except for the American Custom pipes I put on this weekend. It actually sounds like a Harley now! Got my 5 year old daughter a helmet and took her a ride around the block a few weeks ago. Now she is on me to ride every time I fire it up and my wife is fearful the DD will eventually cut into her time riding with me. I'm still amazed at the difference in the ride from the Springer.
