Hello!
I'm new to the forum. New to ANY fourm actually! Bare with me while I figure this all out. I'm from the St. Louis area and I ride an 89 fxrs. As soon as I figure out how to add pics, I will.
Welcome to the forum from San Diego, CA. My advise is to go to the "New Members" area and read it. It will answer a lot of you questions and eliminate a lot of frustrations.

Thanks! I do believe I have some reading to do. Do you know how to tell if someone replies to your post? Without searching for what you wrote later on, that is. Phone notification would be cool...

After you get into the forum, look in the blue line and you will see a link that says: My Recent Topics. Click on it and it will give you a drop down menu that you can choose anywhere from your last visit up to a week ago. If it is something you want to keep an eye one even longer you can choose to subscribe to a thread at the top of any page in that thread on the far right under "Thread Tools". Then when you click on the "User CP" (also in the blue line) you can find, on the left, the link to subscriptions. Hope this helps.
