Hey everyone, just signed up for the forum although have been reading some threads for quite some time. I'm new to riding bought my first bike about 8 months ago and have loved riding ever since. Ive always loved motorcycles just never quite got around to buying one myself. Im sad to say the bike that I own right now is not a harley . I bought a 1985 honda shadow vt500 for $500, cleaned it up and got it running good. Not quite my dream bike, but it got me on the road and hooked. I am now saving my money to buy a harley. This is why i have joined the forum, hoping to get some guidance into what i really want. i am really excited to be on the forum and read more about peoples recommendations.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the bike -- brand doesn't matter, just that you jumped in and are on the road. I'm sure you'll have that hog in your garage one day...
