I've been on here before just haven't posted in forever!
So I haven't been on a bike really since I laid my 91 883 down, went and took a rider safety course and got the bug again. So I started looking through CL ad's and this guy in Southern Mo posted a 2008 XL883 for sale for 4200. I called him, we talked some. I basically said, listen I'll come down TODAY whats the cash dollar amount. He said 3600, I then looked at the NADA value and off the saving bank I go. Needless to say I think I got a good deal (You all tell me)
2008 XL883
14000 Miles
Screaming Eagle Exhaust
Bars (I wanna call them drag bars but they aren't flat)
Flat black fenders and jugs
A LOT of dirt
The bad: It loads up with fuel, runs PIG rich and has horrible low end throttle response. I think it has a fouled plug so I'll be changing them, and doing a basic tune up. (Oil Change and Plugs)
