Hello everyone!
I am new to the forum and to HD having bought my '12 ultra classic EG in march. I have been a "lurker" since then and have learned all kinds of great information here - thanks! I got back into riding about 3 years ago buying a '07 Suzuki C50T. It was a great starter bike for my wife and I to see if we really enjoyed riding. Turns out we did and upgraded the following year to a '10 Kawasaki Nomad. Another great bike that was very comfy for my wife but not for me on long rides. Convinced my great wife if we were going to tour the Blueridge Parkway and stay overnight, I needed a bigger bike! She said ok and search was on. At that point I was not a Harley fan but could not rule them out. Test rode a Victory CCT which neither of us liked due to comfort. Then road a Goldwing the same day. My wife loved it but it didn't "fit" me right. Tons of power and very smooth but not much fun. Rode the UCEG the next day and the search was over! Fit us both like a glove and couldn't get the grin off my face!
