Just started reading here and there is a TON of info! Thanks everyone!
I am the owner of a new (to me) '08 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. This is my 3rd bike. I started on a Sportster, when to a Kawasaki Vulcan (I wanted something bigger but didn't have much money). Now I have my dream bike. I am still figuring out how I'm going to make it "mine".
I bought the UC at Sauk Prairie Harley in Sauk City, WI. They have provided great service and patiently put up with all my questions and harassment.
That is a beautiful bike. I live in Rome, Adams county. Be careful panic stopping, it is easy to lock up the rears on these touring bikes, especially if you don't have ABS.
If you get passenger pegs go with the Rivco's, not the Kuryakyns. Long story, PM me for details.
