Hey guys, I picked up my 2013 Street Bob about 2 weeks ago. I've been riding on the street for about 5 years but on 2 wheels pretty much my whole life. I come off of a 2011 GSXR 750 so the harley is a big change, but I'm liking it so far. I was researching bikes for a while and I never really thought about harley untill I went to a dealer and rode one. I was hooked after that. The only thing I really don't like about it is the brakes. I don't see why dual front discs aren't standard on every motorcycle, but I guess I'll get used to it.
The bike is a HD-1 custom build...the dealer had it in stock and wouldn't let me order another one with the color I wanted and I didn't like the color they had on this one so they actually stepped up and swapped out the tins with another street bob they had in stock. The bike has the black 103, forward controls, drag bars and the red wheels. I don't really know to much about harleys but I'm looking forward to learning. I've been browsing the forum non stop since I got the bike. Lot's of good info on here. Any who here's a pic of the bike
Welcome from East Tennessee. Get a pair of slip ons installed on her and rid yourself of the "cats" and heat. Ck out Cycle Shack, cheap price, ok quality, or Rush, fair price and good quality. Ride and then let the mods begin. It sounds like you've already figured out why we ride Harley's. That is a good looking Dyna and a lot of bang for the buck. Here's a couple web sites to get you started, www.jafrum.com, www.leatherup.com, www.motorcyclegear.com. www.denniskirk.com
