Hi everyone,
Looking for advise. I have a 2012 FLHTK 103 Limited and I installed the Cobra Fi2000 auto-tuner and SuperFlo air breather, with Vans and Hines true dual Bigshot exhaust system.
The issue is that I noticed that the tempreatures are so high that the head port section gets orange red. I check for exhaust leaks and found none. Performance seems normal and no popping during acceleration or slowing down.
I am worried that this will cause engine damage so I won't be riding it until I figure this out.
My 07 fxstc does it also when I'm just sitting still. If i let it run for 5-10 min at startup it's hard to notice until I give a lil gas & I can see them start to glow under the shields. Its easy to see if its a lil dark out. There was another post a while back & some others reported same thing. But my bike don't have a programmer either so it probably runs a lil hotter & lean.
