I've been riding for about 8 years now but mostly all with super sports. I sold my ike last year and now i'm ready to move onto a Harley.
I'm going into the dealership tomorrow to pick up a 2012 Sportster 48. Still undecided on the color but can never go wrong with black. If they would of made a silver i would of bought that. Anyway, the 2012 is new and i'm figuring i'll get a better deal on it over the 2013.
Anything else i should be looking into? I kept all my FF helmets and i'm going to pick up a Bell Custom 500 because i just love that old school bobber look.
Thanks for the welcome guys. What do you guys think of adding some aftermarket parts right away from the dealership instead of waiting and having to take it in again? I know it's probably more expensive but it's winter anyway i figure i'd buy it and have them put on some V&H Shortshots Staggered black as well as a chopped fender edge light. I really want to add a spring solo seat but i'd rather ride the bike a little, get a feel for the current seat then swap. I actually find this is a better option then having to leave the bike a few days in the spring seeing as time = money.

Thanks! I'm using it mostly to get around the city. I live in the West Island and want to take it to work almost every day. My Suzuki GSX-R was a pain to ride daily and especially in traffic. I work in Old Montreal so as you know, parking is really expensive so i'm figuring ill just take the bike in and park for free. Filling up every 2nd day doesn't bother me but i might swap the tank eventually.
