first trip to sturgis
going to be going the week before would like to know the best route with out going through the badlands on 94 ?

Welcome to the forum Don.

US20 or 18 from your area to US 385/16. There are tons of other roads such as local, county,state roads that you could use. You need to get a Road Atlas and study it for awhile.

For me it's I90 all the way. I'll enjoy the riding no matter what type of road I'm on!
