Glad to be here. I've been lurking on this site for a while and though I'd join. I'm a soon to be Harley owner and currently I'm riding a metric. I've got my Harley list down to three Dyna's and should be making the purchase sometime soon.
I'm 58 years old, retired and a re-entry rider after 35 year lapse. So when I decided to get back into riding, I went with a small metric (KLR650), took the AMA course and now I'm ready to move up to a Harley. I like the Dyna's. I'm 6'4" and weight close to 300 lbs, but they seem to fit me as long as the controls are forward.
I'm looking forward to getting my Harley soon and when I do that I'll be participating more in the forum here. In the meanwhile, I'll just continue to read, learn and keep my mouth shut for the most part.
