I just joined the forum and also just bought my first Harley - a 2006 Softail Deluxe. I also ride Triumphs and have built a 1964 Triumph bobber (keeper) and am in process building a '65 bobber (to sell....). I traded a nice little 2004 Triumph Bonneville T100 for the new Deluxe.
I'm looking forward to spring for my first ride on the new Deluxe. My only experience on a Harley so far was a rental (solo ride from Las Vegas to Hollywood to visit my son at school). That was on a Dyna Low Rider - by the way, at just 5'6", the Deluxe is like a God Send....
I hope to get to meet you all on the forum and will be crawling all over it for the rest of the winter while I anticipate a beatiful New England spring.....
