So, I just bought a low T compensator, in the form of a 2007 Heritage Softail classic. I grew up on a 1966 FLH stroker with Andrews racing gears, as a matter of fact, I was 14 when my father said "here, it's time to cut your teeth". 30 years later, I finally got a Harley of my own, a bit of a disappointment for everyone in the county who knew my dad and his bike. I guess it was just expected that all four of his boys would fall in line with the biker lifestyle. At 44 now, I'm the only one. At any rate, I took it for a little maiden voyage this morning, bright and early. I started off a little unsure of myself, but a mile into it, it was like I never left. I'm pretty excited. It's a beautiful bike, comfortable, and plenty big enough for this guy.
