Hello everyone, just joined the forums today. I bought my first Harley a few days ago. Super Glide Custom. Since this pic was taken, i have added a back rest and the stage 1 SE and had it remapped. I also orded a set of cycle Shack slash cut slip on"s. Hopefully they will be here soon.
My first bike was a a 1981 yahama 400 special. Then after i sold it, I rode my dads 81 ironhead sportster. He took it back when he moved out of state. So i bought a 2000 Honda 600 shadow. Ran that for 5 years and sold it, and moved up into a 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 classic. I just sold that and bought this. I dont know why I waited so long to get a Harley?
Welcome to the forum. How was Shenandoah HD to deal with now?
Well to be honest Cowboy. They were great. I stopped going to their parties and get togethers a few years ago b/c they seemed like total douchebags. I was told that they now have new owners. If so, they have some good owners now. I was treated like a king, I knew the saleswoman so i'm sure that helped. parts had a new guy behind the counter who didnt seem to be able to answer any of my questions about back rests and mufflers. So another guy told me to go to service and talk to them. They knew what they were talking about and were able to get everything done that same day. They even worked a little later to make sure it was finished and right. I couldnt be happier with them.
