I've been a reader on this forum for quite a while now, but never posted.
I am contemplating swaping out the bars on the SG, and while I am doing that the cables need to be changed. As long as I am going that far, it is a perfect time to get the inner fairing painted. While the gauges are out, may as well get them modded. The amp and speakers just arrived from Biketronics, but before I install them, I want to get a pre-amp out and an AUX port on the back of the HK. So...what started as a $80 minor change will probably approach $1,000 by the time I get done. I am sure I will have some questions for this group before I get to the end of it.
