hello everyone

i just wanted to introduce myself , friends call me biker dave , i just recently purchased my first Harley , it is a 2000 dyna fxds convertable , the HD makes bike number 5 in my stable . i have 2 cb750's (one old school bobber style one is done bagger style ) a 78 cm 400 bar hopper (i hand built the ridged frame for it as well as many other parts ) and a 87 kawi kz 1000 police special that will be restored to original , all my bikes have been basket cases and all are hand built one-off customs (except the harley) im in the process of changing the dyna to make it more of "my bike" and less of just another harley in the lot . i am truely loving the ride of the harley and the torque it has . ive long liked the HD brand , but prices and fitment kept me away (im only 5'6" , short legs LOL ) but this dyna with its mid controls is perfect . i love to work on my bikes and will not take it to a shop unless its the last option . i love being able to know every nut &bolt on my scoots and being able to see the custom changes in others bikes when im out . im the vice prez of my local Concerned Bikers Association chapter and am very involved with bikers rights . i feel a bad day riding beats a good day working anythime LOL , i look forward to shareing ideas and learning some from the folks on this board
