Hi All, well I am going to make the plunge very soon and buy my first HD. I have been a rider for about 13 years or so and owned several bikes during that time. But never a Harley. I belong to a couple of other forums like this (Corvette, Ducati, BMW) and know what a huge wealth of information they are. So I figured since I am going to be an HD owner soon, I thought I would get an education.
For what its worth, I am looking at a 1976 Sportster 1000 that will ultimately become a bobber. So I am researching all I can about this type of bike, other bobber projects, and general information. I am very impressed with the size of this site, lots and lots of stuff here.
I will go see this bike in a few days, and if anyone knows anything in particular with this model that I should look at/for, I would appreciate it.
