Hey there...
Well, I went to register here, and apparently I used to be a member. Been long enough I thought I should re-introduce myself.
Live in Petaluma, CA. Lot of nice stuff to ride around here if you ever get the chance. Lived around here most of the time since 1970 and been riding around here since 1988 or so.
Main ride is an '01 FLHRCI.
Love weird stuff - currently also own a 73 HD/Aermacchi 350 Sprint SS, and a 67 HD/Aermacchi Sprint 250 dirtbike built up for vintage mx racing.
But when I actually need to get anywhere I take the Road King.
Good to be reading stuff here again.

Yeah, American Graffiti was filmed here, as well as a little South in San Rafael and also down in Turlock. There's a big festival in May, hot rods & bikes. Last year they added drag racing out on Frates Rd., I think that was where the drags took place in the movie. They usually have some of the actors in town for it and the Milner's yellow rod.
Peggy Sue Got Married was filmed here as well.

You live in a nice area. I went to a local club there back in the early 90s. The band consisted of Mickey Hart from the Grateful Dead, and 10 or so other drummers. That was it. A dozen drummers, nothing else. Actually put on a great show.

Guessing that club would have been Uncle Charlie's. Long gone now but that was the big venue in Marin back then. Couldn't swing a stick around here back then without hitting a member of the GD.
