Howdy guys. Yep, green as grass newbie to HD motorcycles. I don't own any bike at all. Nearest thing to a bike I own now is a Honda 3wheeler.
So what am I doing HERE?
Well I used to ride a lot. Bought my first honda when I was 15 and owned quite a few over the next 15 years or so. By the time my 2nd child was born I had 4 Hondas in the garage and rode everyday. Thing is I rode every where just as fast as the thing would go. Coming home in the rain one day a light bulb went off, this is just stupid. This Honda 750, in reality cost me more to ride to work than something cheap with a roof, heater and doors. Add to that it's just no fun to ride unless I'm riding at the edge of sanity the whole time I'm on it.
With in a week I'd sold all 4 Hondas I owned and swore I'd never own another one. If I EVER buy another motorcycle it's going to be something that's fun to just get on and ride because it's fun to ride with out risking my neck every time I sit down on it.
58 years old now and been getting the itch for a couple years now. Man that Breakout they have in some kind of display in the local Walmart looks cool as ..., I don't know diddly squat about Harley Davidson's other than "I want that"!
