Just joined today.
Just a short introduction. Been lurking here for a month or so. Looks like a really good site. Recently bought a 2000 RK Classic. Also bought aSears lift and afactory manual (both really good purchases).Haven't got to ride much since it's winter here, but got a few afternoons in on warm enough days. Lack of riding did allow me to complete the 30K service during which I learned a LOT about my bike. Also put new brake pads in, and 2 new WWW Metzelers. I do all my own wrenching, put the tires on at home. Part because I'm a cheap A$$, and part because I want to know how it is done. So, now I'm really ready to get some road time in. I'm 59 and started riding at 14. First bike was a '47 Norton 500 single hard tail. Progressed through a couple of Triumphs and BSAs and a K model Harley.Later had BMWs and a Honda Sabre.
