First and foremost, I currently don't own a bike, but am actively looking... My issue is that I keep bouncing between models that I want, 2nd guessing myself.
If I could get some advice on my first HD... Part of me says to get a Sportster to start, but then another part of me says to get what you're going to ride for a long time.
I've had my eye on the Blackline, but they are so few and far between it's hard to actually sit on one and see how it feels, also, would it be 'too much bike'? A friend of mine has a Nightster for sale. I have yet to get a feel for that one either, but fear that it may be too small and If I add fwd. controls would that be enough to squelch any potential buyers remorse for it being 'too small'.
Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to offer.
Welcome from Florida! Looking forward to having you around.
For my advice, I would pick the bike that I am going to want to ride and have around for awhile. Even if that means waiting. I know it goes against the "I want it now mindset" but trust me when I say you will enjoy the ride a lot more when you have your fists on the bike you wanted, not a bike you quickly settled for.
Good luck!
