Been lurking around here for a while. Finally decided to join and post. Been ridin bikes in one form or another since I was a kid. Ridin dirt bikes before I was old enough to have a license.
Guess it was just in the blood... My Dad rode as well. I remember one of the bikes he had was an old 3 wheel Harley - like the old meter reader bikes - he put a bench type seat on the back and mom and I spent a lot of time riding around back there.
I have a couple bikes at present - keep a Yamaha "crotch rocket" for the speed factor (don't hold it against me.....) and "old faithful" - my 1997 ex-police road king. I've had the bike since 1999 and we have been a few miles together... Been through most of the southeast on it. She's no trailer queen, has a few bumps dings and miles on her, but she runs good and looks ok.
Spend most of my time in Florida, but we have a cabin in N.E. Tennessee that we get to from time to time. The cooler weather and winding roads through the mountains are a nice break from flat, hot Florida!
