just a quick hello to all, just signed up today will be picking up my 2000 wide glide in a couple of days bought from a salvage site ,It will be on the road in a couple of days .....can't wait .I'm no computer geek so it may take me a while to get round the site .I have always wanted a harley (same old story!) I had a ride on steve Jones fat boy two weeks ago and BANG! .....hooked ,looking forward to going to poland in summer with a few mates on their Harleys ,We done europe three years running , First year ,super bike honda sp1, but all riders had harleys or bmw gs. so I got a gs , boring ,and as the wifey pointed out ,with all the boxes and **** you arn't going to morroco! you look stupid!! so ,sold it and went on superbike again ,complete with sore back and bottom, so this year ....yep big boys toy ,I wanted a road king but that will come soon enough ,The wide glide will do for now ,It's got a dint in the tank a broken indicator and 6,000miles on the clock ,Any body know this bike ? X752 BNA it looks mint maybe the last owner has the bags or service info I could buy ,I will let you know how the bike is when it turns up ...can't wait! growler
