After a 21 year sabbatical to raise a lovely daughter, I am back in the biking community. I came across a very clean 2003 anniversary Wide Glide (Silver/Black) a year ago last August with 3,700 miles on it and fell in love again. Right out of the gates I added a little more chrome, and a Sundowner seat for my bony old ****. The skins weren't dry rotted and had a bit of tread so I held off swapping them until early last summer when I did the rear brake pads. Nothin' like new rubber on the road!!
It was a 10K mile season last year, and like most of you who have had to put up with the winter that won't go away, I'm champing at the bit to get the old horse out again.
I'll be posting a new thread outside the new members area regarding LED lighting, but until then......
Thanks to all for the warm welcome. For those south of the Mason Dixon I'd say you lucky SOG's should be out riding soon except it seems Mother Nature may have other ideas
