Hi,
I have been reading your Forums on and off now for about a year and as I get closer to a bike purchase decided to sign on.
Great wealth of info on this forum, that few other motorcycle forums have.
Working to purchasing a Road King and I am in the process of learning about the different generations.
Considering bikes prior to the frame changes 2008? and doing a motor swap upgrade or something like that.
Also considering the newer frame 2008? or after.
Any opinions would be appreciated. There seem to be some good values in the pre-2008 Road Kings that would give some room to do a motor swap such as a 120R or the S&S.
Is there that big of difference between the frames? What needs to be considered for doing a crate motor upgrade?
