Hello all. I am not a Harley owner YET! I'm in the market. And these internet forums have been so helpful to me in the past, I thought I would browse around here for a while before getting my HD in order to help me choose.
I have only recently started looking, and so far I'm thinking of either a softail delux, wide glide or the V-rod. I really like the night-rod special. I even kinda like the Sportster Nightster.
I had a motorcycle in high school (Ducati 748 SS) but I gave it up with my g-friend's (now fiancee) mother was killed on a motorcycle. It's been just about long enough to where I think my family would accept me getting one, and I definately don't want a crotch rocket. I really, really want a HD.
Thanks in advance for all the great advice I'm sure I'll get on this forum.
