Hello Forum Buddies:
In June, I finally pulled the trigger on a 2014 HD Heritage Softail Classic. As a retiree, I can tell you that I watch my pennies, and never in my life would I have thought I would have paid so much for a motorcycle. But, here I am riding a Heritage that as of today has 420 miles (been vacationing in California for a few weeks; hence, the low mileage).
I am a retired hight school teacher from San Jose, CA, and in 2009 we purchased a house in Fort Worth, TX. My wife and I are very happy here and now with the Heritage---even happier.
Tomorrow, Sunday, my wife and I were heading off to Sturgis, but Fate put a damper on the trip. As we were loading the bike, my wife tripped and bruised her knee--no Sturgis. I hope to read from those who will attend Sturgis about the sights, sounds, and happenings--please do share.

sorry bout the trip..
Hope you love your Heritage as much as the wife and I have,, 8yr now and 48K on her, and we've loved every minute of them.. Well cept the few time we've gotten wet..
