I'm replacing the 25mm front wheel bearings in a 2013 Airstrike wheel that's on my 99 RKC. It has 03 forks so I can use either a 25mm or 1" front axle. I have a couple spare wheels hanging around as well as both sized axles, the first is laced from a 03 RK the other is a Airstrike 07, both front. I pulled the bearings from both, INA single row HD #9247 for each. I was under the impression the 1" bearings were double row but both are single row. After I've read about so about the bearing issues from 08 on up and was under the impression it was because they went from double row to single. That's not the case, it must be because of the manufacturer.
Confirmation and thoughts.............goldie

Reason: info
Hopefully I'll be able to make these small enough. The bearing top left is from 07 Airstrike with its plastic carrier still installed. Bottom right is with carrier removed from 03 Laced wheel. There was plenty of grease in both. The 07 bearings was a little stiff in the wheel but once out spun quite easily.........goldie
There are 8 ball bearings in each. They both have F-390599 H-D 9247 W 07 18 (on 07)
R 10 02 (on 03 bearing) and INA 45 on inner race. The 03 bearing has the plastic carrier removed so I could see if it was a double row bearing and they are loose ........goldie
