Does anyone have ANY ideas on who makes these wheels?
I'm looking for something very simple like this for my Breakout. I was thinking about 7 or 9 spoke Invaders, but there are just too many horror stories out there.
This photo is from the November 2014 issue of "Easyriders" magazine, page 42.
OK, in case anyone else is interested ... I figured it out ... sort of ...
These two bikes were built about 5 years ago by Jesse Rooke of Rooke Customs out in California. Apparently, Performance Machine makes wheels for his bikes. This wheel is called "7".
I'm trying to find out if they're still available from PM...
Hope you are able to solve this riddle! As you can see from the views count, not many members call in here, hence the problem of getting a reply. To be honest those wheels look pretty flimsy - they may be fine in a very lightweight custom, but I'm not sure about a stock road-going behemoth like your Breakout! HDF sponsor Hogpro has a similar 7-spoke wheel called Daytona, which is worth taking a look at.
