23" No Rake No Trees?

Default 23" No Rake No Trees?
I ran in to a guy this weekend and he said that he is running a 23" inch on the front of his SG, but didn't rake his bike or change the trees. Is this possible?

It is possible, but lets just say 95% of the Motorcycle Industry would recommended raking out the front end.

Not for me though. If I do change my front I'm not planning on going bigger than 21".
