Default Connecting Speedometer Cable?

I purchased an 87 FLHS and the prior owner installed a different front wheel which I believe might be off a FL Touring bike. Problem is that there is not a notch in the rotor where the old speedometer cable would notch in to. Any thoughts on how I can get my speedometer connected?

Welcome to HDF from the UK. '90 FLHS here, owned from new. That wheel is probably off a 2000 or later Road King, which will have had a speedo sensor in the trans. We have experts in the Evo section who can probably answer your query, so I recommend you pop over there. A few of them have used later wheels on our old bikes, I am even about to myself, but I haven't done it yet!
