Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. Your current 2.15" rim width is suitable IIRC for an 80 or 90 wide tyre. A 3.5" wide rim is only suitable for a 120/70 or similar size low-profile tyre. If that is what you want to move over to all you need is a wheel builder to supply and rebuild your current hub with that size of rim. Alternatively you can buy a ready-made custom wheel of that size. We have HDF sponsors who will be pleased to do that!

You will need a different front fender to put the wider rim/tire combo. Unfortunately for the Deuce it is yet again the case of fits all softails but the deuce for front fenders.

Hogpro, just so I 100% understand. On my 2001 Deuce, if I wanted to go from the stock HD 21x2.15 wheel to a 21x3.5 I would have to either run without a front fender or have a custom fender fabricated? Otherwise, it would be a simple switch to a new wheel. The complication is in the fender fitment?

Stock fender will not work. There are no direct bolt on's that I know of for a deuce.

Maybe you could get a set of fork sliders for a standard soft tail and swap them over so you could put on a fender that fit.
